It has been a minute since we experienced a leap day, so yesterday felt a bit strange to me. I was ready to welcome March, but had to wait an extra day!
Oh, March. How I love you. In March we get to welcome spring, and my husband and I will celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. March is a special month, to be sure.
I’m ready to spend more time outdoors, walking around the woods on our five acres. Today I took a lovely meditative walk into the forest. Before long, it will come to life.
I’ve been researching the Spring Equinox. This year, I want to recognize the Wheel of the Year, or at least the two solstices and equinoxes in my spiritual life.
I hope to honor nature and its changes in a meditative and personal way.
I’m not quite sure what this will involve yet. I know I plan to be outside at sun up and sun down. We will probably take a nature walk, perhaps plant some seeds, and color eggs. I am looking for natural ideas which embody the spring season.
I love the idea of looking at time in a cyclical way, instead of in a linear fashion. It makes a lot of sense to me.
What a happy and joyous time of learning and growth.
Thank you spring, for coming again!
