Real Goodness

Real goodness can be compared to water;

It does no harm and nurtures everything.

And like water, it moves towards low places,

Places where others usually avoid.

This is the way of God.

God chooses to dwell in the quiet fields;

and flows like a calm Eddy.

The way of God is always generous and kind;

When speaking it is genuine.

Its power is ordered;

Its action is gentle;

and its movement holds a steady rhythm.

Because God’s way is always peaceable,

it brings refreshment to those who seek it.
